The topic of corporal punishment aside, the spot feels like a lot of stretch for me. Promising start and great build-up, but a cop-out of an ending almost.
We can infer that the kid is really innocent, but only because of his poor vision, he gets the rod just leaves a bad taste in the mouth for some viewers (perhaps especially the parents.)
Spectacular looking film, nonetheless. I wish I had more spots on my reel that simply looked like that... : (

What I understand is that someone made a joke on the teacher (for exemple a seal full of petrol on the top of a door). The teacher is asking who did that. Nobody answer. Then we see a pupil with bad vision who do not see the teacher arriving on him.
But why the teacher thinks this pupil is guilty?
What is the relation whith the bad sight?
