You don't live in the States, correct? This is a good old mainstream ad. It features Kelly Ripa, who's a famous TV personality and also her husband. Fake or not, it's family friendly (what the client wants) and it does talk about the product itself. So in light of all that, it can't be that bad.

Heavily condescending?? What are you talking about? I don't like the commercial either. I don't like anything that's traditional because it's usually boring. But I try to be objective. This is an ok commercial that most moms in America (yes, I said America) would like. And maybe the client, Electrolux, does not want to be edgy or super creative. So spare me your condescending crap, Spoonfeeder.

I'm about to be condescending again, here it comes...

In your infinite, objective advertising wisdom should we be agreeing with clients and just give them what it is they think they want and accept mediocrity?

And then be so proud of it that we post on AoTW and other advertising sites to show people that we are a bend over forward agency that let's our clients stick it to us dry...
