Hi, I'm the guy in this ad.
I sleep on the street and eat throw aways for a stable diet. I don't remember the last warm bed or hot shower I had. Last night I fought some other guy for bench to sleep on.
Thanks for taking the time to make an ad about the cans I collect. The 50 cents a day my life runs on wouldn't be possible without them.
The ad is pretty cool huh? I mean the way the bottles come together to promote themselves while I remain on the street just underneath them.
I know that Coke might have thought about donating the thousands from this spot cost to a homeless shelter and just being humane about helping out. But listen, this is America you communist prick and I think we should support our billion dollar corporations during these hard financial times.
I'll be ok, I'm use to it. But please support this ad and Coke so non of the their white collar employees end up on the streets like me.
Cause that's just one more person I'll fight for to get a can to cash in, bench to sleep on or food line to stand behind.

No offense but I think you're over-analyzing the ad with your anti-capitalism ideals.
But then again, maybe you ARE the guy in this ad, which explains the bitter essay.

The cans decorate a homeless man's bench and leave a whole full bottle of fizzy crap for him to drink. Awesome!
I can't imagine a worse ad. "Hey look world, it's us here at Coke and we'd just like to wish the homeless of america a happy coke christmas...with empty cans and a free caffeine shot!"

the only positive thing is the homeless guy has something to mix his bourbon with at the end.
