Prob my fav spot from SuperBowl... the copy has soo much heart, the progression of visual metaphors to follow the copy is on point....not too literal, the tagline "Imported from Detroit.” is perfect, and they used a "rags to riches" home town hero.
checkmate :]
More ressesion hit industries should take notice to this format if they want consumers to believe in them again, IMO
Favorite Spot as well. Favorite two aspects: "Lose Yourself" song in the background and that W + K resisted the urge to over-feature Eminem and let the message be the hero. Great spot.
And as an Irishman in the Netherlands, this entirely works. If you've any interest in or knowledge of the history of US automotive, then this is all-over smart advertising. If you don't, watch the ad again and pick up on the references. Top work.

2 minutes to say this?
Yes.
Works for America, nothing special for the rest of the world.
Best of the night.....Eminem ended up hitting a .500 - the Brisk spot is just bad
Who did this ad?

I probably won't buy a Chrysler, but it's a great tvc. Well done.
I don't get it.
Then yes, I would love extra fries with that.
God this is all kinds of all-encompassing smart all over. Copy to file under 'envy', and as HHour says, the payoff is perfect.
Businessweek has an interesting take on the sales buzz and wisdom of Detroit imagery here: http://www.businessweek.com/autos/autobeat/archives/2011/02/eminem_ear...

Full of emotions - even people from different parts of the world will catch this...

fuck yeah. (even though I don't care for the car.)
outstanding in all ways.
I like that it's not an extremely loud car like the 300. Luxury should be subtle sometimes. I just hope the car lives up to the commercial.
loved it!
