Cadbury Dairy Milk: Zingolo
Zingolo is the first single from Glass and a Half Full Records. Ghana is the heart of Cadbury Dairy Milks Fairtrade Cocoa and so the track celebrates all things Ghanaian: its people, its rappers, its dancers, its cultural figures and, of course, its cocoa beans. So turn up your speakers, get down and ZINGOLO!

Well, that was strange.

"I love some things, and don't love some other things."
wooow
It's bizarre, it's full of cliches, yet against all the odds, enjoyable.
As they say on the other side of The Pond... SIMPLY BRILLIANT!
I just hope this doesn't lead to them increasing the price of those imported AMAZING Irish Flakes.
Let me see if I get this right; a giant floating wooded head, lot's of flying cocoa beans with faces, a city with squared lightning disco floor, american-style rappers, donkeys, bikes and strange 80's color explosions..
There are so many elements in here I just got lost, so... I've just shacked my head to the rithm =P
Strange approach. No word's to describe "this" experience.
.: look for the green giant on the label :.
10/10 ...because the gorilla won cannes aswell ;P
Strange... but not 'good' strange. Not even close.
WTF. brilliant, though
Try as they might, lightning is not going to strike twice for this brand. Find a new approach before you lose what credibility you have left.
Doin' it for the points
I am still asking what I just saw, in a great way... Who did that? Fallon London? Juan Cabral? Who?
It's a clanger.
nice,, in a weird way
tough crowd, tough crowd.
I'd like to see the ads done by the criticizing sons of %%%%
Please tell me you're not responsible for this god awful mess. It's like a hobo made toilet in my eyes. And yes, I'd know wouldn't I.
Doin' it for the points
Nice music, weird animation!
Nice music, weird animation.
Thumbs down!
IM SICK OF THIS... ITS SO BIZARRE AND SO WELL PRODUCE, THAT FOR SURE WILL WIN CANNES... EVEN WITH OUT AN IDEA.
I was with it initially.
after 30 seconds my expectation was waining.
after 60 seconds I was wondering if I could be bothered to make it to the payoff.
there was no payoff!
Strange but nice...in a strange way. Good work, Ghana.
Yeah but I watch it all and smile too. So thumbs up.
Good old exploitation of Africa... Cadbury is god. They buy our resources... Celebrates.
WOW! Obviously i miss something... what in the world is this?!
american style rappers?? No, not at all....this is Hip Life and it comes from Ghana. We have our own way of expressing ourselves, we dont need to copy the West. The concept of the video is random but the fact that it celebrates some of the things that Ghana represents is a good thing. Its time for people to open up their minds an realise that the worldis a global village.....In Ghana, we celebrate our culture and the lives that we have been Blessed-no matter what!

Like this a lot; it's about time the actual producers of the product got a look in! Kudos to Cadburys for finally acknowledging the major source of its chocolate.
Ghana is presented in a culturally positive way also. Thumbs up.
One word for UK residents! OFCOM x
think it was dan watts&filip tyden and chris bovill&john allison.
this ad, and the previous "eyebrow dance" make me smile and cheer me up every time I see them. Hurray for Cadbury!
I think it's great, i'm African i don't particularly like cadbury chocs but i do like the advert! African parties rule!
This advert is racist. It reminds of old stereotypes of black people as portrayed on American TV in the 1950's - always dancing around and smiling, happily oblivious to the 'real' world around them.
Why are they having a party in the middle of the day? Because Mr. Cadbury head is in town? It makes no sense.
Ive been looking at how africa is presented in western media, and i have to say this is a thumbs up for me (although the strange wooden head confuses me). overall i think this is a positive representation of ghana, i only spent 3 months there, but i feel that for once the media has listened and observed and produced something that looks like Ghana, rather than what they think Ghana should look like. Im so fed up of seeing the same old cliche images of death, disease, corruption etc.. as the whole of africa is forming in to these generalised stereotypes. The use of ghanian high life musica nd the general humour takes me right back to ghana, im not sure of cadburys ethics, but i think this praises ghana!
Bizarre, bizarre, bizarre.... What is the wooden head meant to be? What's going on? But then, once you get over that, it's inventive and original. I truly haven't seen another ad like it. The high-life music and the dancing was far from the usual cliches we get on Brit TV, so I don't see how people could see this as offensive or cliched.
There's only so much famine and corruption you can get, especially in a Cadbury's ad. The point about smiling and dancing Africans on 50s tv, sure I understand, but this is far from BBC depictions of half-clothed "natives" in the bush dancing around a fire and singing tribal songs, which we still get today. This is modern, fun and a good advert, even if I don't quite get it.
was up dudes, this video is sick bruv, man it is blummin awesome
