Aston Martin: Pieces of Art
This is a short test project based on some research the creators were doing for a different project. It has photorealistic clean rooms and elements which were build to showcase architectural interiors and metal objects. The whole project from concept to final film was completed in 4 weeks.

It reminds me of this and that'd make it an old concept

But it doesn't matter, the car sells itself...
Yes, my profile picture is my dog on my sister's bed, with a pillow and a blanket...
I don't like "simply" in the tagline but lovely video - indeed Aston Martin is a piece of art (cars are beautiful). All I'm lacking of the brand here is the racing heritage but I can't be bothered :P

Thanks for your comment. Nice point.
hmmm... nothing new here... tedious... Audi did it better.
Like it but the end wasn't as climactic as I would have liked it to be. Also, you take the time to make the whole video very photorealistic, as if all of these are real pieces in a gallery, and then at the end, you have a car in slices that puts itself together and spins around. Lacks consistency with the rest of the clip (and makes you wonder if any of it was real).
Thanks, very good point, well taken :-).
Nicely produced. Lacks sensuality considering the evocative nature of the brand. The displays were interesting but not intoxicating relative to the cars presence.
great, but ,as GUEST said , that would be fine
Well done. Looks real, not 3D at all. I'm missing a car packshoot.

Thanks a lot for viewing and your nice comment
doesn't end well at all! think again
Gorgeous way to show you know your audience. Aston Martin drivers feel apart from the horde, appreciators of only the finest pieces of every thing and moment. This is a lovely way for a brand to brownnose its customers. And 'simply a piece of art' - the 'simply' obviously there to highlight the complexity involved, the 'piece' because of the contributing elements in the final product, but 'a piece of art' is down the ladder from 'a work of art', so I'm not much swayed by the tagline.
If one product is comprised of many pieces, can it still call itself a piece?
Thanks for you great comments. Very productive input and very much true :-). The tagline is the weakest link as we can tell from all the comments. I really like your idea - "a work of art", wish we had it :-). Again, thanks for these great comments.
Just watched it again. The exhibition is 'Pieces of Art' and the tag is 'Simply a piece of art'- so the concerns about a 'piece' being made of many other pieces becomes even more troublesome. To escape that confusion, you could have used "simply artistic" - that way avoiding the overused 'work of art' and less-used for good reason 'piece of art'.
Hello Curious Pencil,
yes, right again, we actually thought about changing the line yesterday, but then a lot of notes popped up regarding "work of art", being used and also associating the process of making the art, rather the final subject itself. We know it is a problem point believe me :-). Thanks again for your comment.
I wonder what Aston Martin's biggest fan, Jeremy Clarkson, would think of that ad :)
nice work
how to download ?thinks a lot
Nice but boring and a lil'bit on the Audi's playground...
