Sellouts
HA HA HA !.... no shit
Lots of creative directors.
For what?
just bought this computer and the battery only holds charge for an hour-
Infomercial.
Now THAT was a waste of 30 seconds. If they think I'm going to base what laptop I buy on battery life, they're insane. 1000 charges... who cares! "That's a typical 5-year life span." Yawn!
i think u r missing the point, the objective is not to let u buy a mac for its long life battery, but to tell u that apple is an environmental friendly brand, maybe u still don't care but many do. Yawn!
actually it's quite related, long battery life is equals to environmentally friendly brand, therefore, short battery life is equals to not so environment friendly brand, yawn, yawn.
ok, i hate this commercial but what you're saying is just stupid. battery life is very important for portable devices.
They're all pretty much the same these days. Not much of a selling point.
wow, all those people billing to a 30 second spot.... did you guys even make money on it?
Lots of creative directors.
For what?
Because they are all GREEN.
Simple ideas are the best !
Sellouts? That's funny as hell Duncan. Everyone in advertising is a sellout.

Could this be a green washed story? Yes.
But it looks pretty dang good on paper. The great thing is that once we get manufacturer's to take steps and make these claims, we can keep encouraging them to do better. Both here with our feedback and with our dollars. Everybody wins because manufacturer's will have to pollute less to stay with the competition. Look up cradle to cradle on Wikipedia. I think Apple has incorporated several important design concepts.
