No.
42 below have done some faboulous, unconventional, smart and category breaking ads. Some have been brilliant, starting with Daryl Parson's brilliant radio work (yes, I'm jealous). This ad just confuses silly for smart. It looks like a Japanese snack food ad.
I would love to have the opportunity to create a campaign for alcohol... lets face it, budgets are big and it is something you can really have fun with.
I don't know what this was. And I can't believe they put that 'chick chick... boom' girl in there.
Message - Drink 42 below and turn schizophrenic.
THis is fucking AWESOME MAN!!!!
Very loud and very irritating ad
I just had a seizure.

i value the fact that a creative coud sell this idea to 42 below and the fact that the brand took its chances. great, however its not my style.
42 Below is a brilliant client. They TOTALLY understand the power of advertising better than most ad people. The brand was started by a former ad guy and they went from nothing to a mulit-million dollar brand in just a few years entirely on the power of category-breaking advertising, stunts and publicity. They have run some great advertising, and deserve better than this lame 'let's just make it silly like a Japanese game show' crap.
Color me utterly dumbfounded.
its awfull!
wtf?
hard lol times.
Can someone please explain this?
If you 're not really into futurepop/industrial/EBM, and so you don't really like the song, how on earth would you stand watching this more than once
This makes no sense. I have no idea what it's trying to tell me or get me to do. If 42 degrees below don't know how to make sense, how the hell can they know how to make vodka.
is this for real?
