I think it's a small idea and I'd switch the channel if the host was advertising like that. But then again, I hate hosts who talk lengthy nonsense but some people do enjoy it.

this is just incredibly unrealistic and unconvincing. the bosses didn't sound angry to begin with, and it seemed like they couldn't care less about getting a mcdonalds breakfast. it's a fail if you ask me.

Maybe for an American boss, this would not have been funny. But we're a little more laid-back in Latin-America, so I can see why a boss would find this to be funny and forgive the employee for arriving late. Great work!
