The idea is built on the the fact that French sounds so poetic and beautiful even to the non-speaker of the language.. Adding subtitles will defeat the purpose.

C'est clair que si les français continuent à parler l'anglais avec un tel accent, il vaut mieux que les autres apprennent leur langue ;-)
