lol...loser, it's the concept that matters, so what if an actual strobe were to supposedly be placed on the right? Should a tiny part of art direction spoil the whole idea, then it's the idea that is suffering with problems.

well, you should really ask yourself this question again, who are they selling the idea to and how much are the intended 'buyers' going to receive. A designer shouldn't primarily be designing for another designer, and then there wouldn't be a need for the design market.
I didn't say I love the idea. I said I like it. You are exaggerating. Further, guests do not ALWAYS love ads. In fact i'd say the opposite is the case. Many use guest status to pour foul scorn. So you are not only exaggerating, but grossly inaccurate. And why was 'guests' in quotation marks? Are you suggesting I was not really a guest? I can assure you I was. Indeed, how could I be other?
But as you asked, the reason I like the idea is it is a visual idea demonstrating the importance of sound in a fresh and instant way. I see from subsequent posts that I am not the only one who thinks this is a nice campaign. Perhaps you can now provide reasons why you feel the idea is old and the line is average?
