i like your post and your way to think most of the time but here...great campaign, i disagree
to me this campaign is just... enough, it does the job not more, not less. there is nothing very creative here, just "funny" animals.
even the concept is not that great, and especially one thing : please people, stop using french words (i'm french) ! cause it's kindda sad to use the old cliché of " france, the country of love " , moreover, france isn't supposed to drive bad ideas to make think people those ideas are good because they use french .....
a weak idea, even if it is not a bad idea, can't become better just by using french words.

I will tell you why I feel this way:
The agency taped in to our hormone glands by combining nice photographs of smart sweet looking animals (no make up, no face lift, no bot-ox) with the gesture of a red rose for valentine's day.
That they are so lovable suggests we should come and visit them. How can you resist this invitation?
I am sure if you were ever in love, even once in your life, you would know what a sweet and innocent gesture can evoke...
I can't help it, :-) they manipulate my feelings so I would remember this ad, this zoo, etc.
Isn't it what we are getting paid for?
Isn't it what we as advertising people do for living?!
So, why wonder when it happens to you?
