Huh? I have no idea what this means.

Are they meant to be a scratchie cards? Ivan, please help! :)

it should be "scratch here" i think (grattez ici)

i don't get it anyway.

Well. Now I know for a fact that work gets posted on here because of where its come from.

This is total and utter shite and I actually think Y&R might be taking the piss here. I reckon Emmanuel has caught on and said over a couple of lagers,

"Hey Vincent, I bet we can make an ad about absolutely nothing and so long as we put that it's from Young and Rubicam, we can get it posted".

"You just might be onto something there, Emmanuel" was Vincent's reply

What a load of garbage. Of course, I may have got those name's around the wrong way. Obviously it may well have been Vincent's idea.

And where's Heubert?

That's really not true. You'd be surprised what big names are rejected regardless of their reputation. And there are plenty of work posted without any agency credentials, even student work.

I happen to like this campaign, it is not going to get the grand prix, but it is an interesting new angle.

And judging by the first batch of comments on this page, everyone certainly seems to agree with you.

I really struggle to believe had a small agency done this work that it would have been given the time of day.

I have to agree that brands work subconsciously even if consciously one tries to be objective.

haha, Boony your comment's much interesting than the ad itself :P
ivan, can you explain to me what's this ad about? sorry :P wish to learn more.

Boony, you've finally said what everyone who isn't from a 'big name' agency has been thinking the whole time. There is some absolute shit on this site that is only here for one reason - where it came from.

Ivan, how about we some 'great' work regardless of how big or small the agency is?

I'll try my best..

now i know you're talking shite.
ivan doesn't just post work from the big boys.
ever thought that your idea probably just wasn't up to par?

yeah, sometimes ivan's got his momentary lapse of good judgement, but he's been doing a bloody ace job, posting stuff for us to check out.

if you don't like it, well,... just don't come on.

and seriously.
taking the excuse that favouritism happens here?
that's just a pathetic excuse.

Don't be so naive.

This site is dominated by work from big name agencies on big name brands, with a lot of it well below average. Admittedly, there is some great work posted on here, but more and more garbage from the likes of JWT, Grey, DDB and Lowe seems to be appearing. This latest one just takes the cake.

And who said I was making excuses?

Oh and before I get jumped on for singling out those agencies, there's plenty from all the big names, they just happened to be the first four I came across when I quickly went through the first few site pages.

Sorry buddy, but I come here because there is alot of good work here, I just agree with Boony that there is an overwhelming amount of pretty crap ads from big name agencies as well as the good stuff here - so I will still 'come on' whenever I like.

I appreciate Ivan's hard work, but it's disappointing to see so many try-hard pieces of work with 'name' logos in the bottom right corner.

so does it mean that they need management talent to manage the people who're like the scraped ticket above, and they need creative talent to make their ad more interesting? so what's about the...."knife" beside (the next ad)?

Oh Jenny, it seems you have a few fans here (like Desi) but I'm afraid you need to think a little bit harder about the ads before expose your, um, 'conceptual weaknesses'.

The ad is called 'pearl'. Does that help?

hi dj, i do not need fans, i come here to learn, not for fan :) thanks to your comment btw.
