WWF: World at sea

WWF: World at sea

Global warming is changing the world's climate rapidly. Icebergs are melting, oceans are rising, nature is revolting. Act now, conserve energy and treat the planet with respect, or we'll have a world at sea.

You can't see the sky from the bottom of the sea. This is extremely stupid.

the WWF usually does better than this.

>>>> That's not an ad. THIS is an ad.

Bad art direction (why are there clouds if its under the water?)

I believe the term is 'conceptual' art direction, tt.
Where the writer snarls "Don't touch it!" ;)

Duh, now I get it!
Sharks will mutate because of global warming and will learn to fly.

GOOD IDEA

Oh my god!!! They added a blue layer on top of the photo! And then, they added sharks! Briliant...

Maybe I should buy some real estate on Himalayas. Will be quite a good investment in the time to come.

Maybe they should have used something directly from the movie Waterworld

Wooo, I am sooo afraid!

Would have made nice tv. A dark, deserted city, bathed in blue light, then out of a doorway swims a shark. Pull back, reveal......blah blah.

That said, it's not working here as well as it could. To far removed from the subject, that it creates distance for the veiwer, and when the message is supposed to urgent you'd think they'd try and pull the veiwer in...........that make sense?

But I don't care anymore. There's a bag of Maoam chewy sweets in the room and they are like crack.

See-Ya!

Whaaaaaa, flying sharks...

This darn global warming thing... look what it is doing to the evolution!

Yeeeeeee, me like it.
Let us have a world at sea... I'll order some goggles right away!

I like it, but there are a shiteload of these sinking world, world under sea etc.

For me I would have preffered it if it had looked more like it was under water, not just a couple of sharks stuck on a picture of a dreary city.

well who cares what I think, but 6/10 from ol tagnuts.

hahaha, stuent work

"Nature is revolting"? Clunky copy there.

I'm still not convinced with these types of ads, using hyperbole to try and scare people into doing something about Global Warming. I think it deadens the senses, making people feel that nothing can be done about it and so they switch off. These ideas usually look like some kind of Hollywood disaster movie poster, which again is not a good thing in my book.

I have seen a recent online execution here: http://www.bannerblog.com.au/2007/04/wwf_do_something_now.php

I think it does the job a lot better even if you'll need broadband to view a tiny banner. That's my opinion.

if i see another wwf ad, im gona empty the contents of my stomach onto the screen, then im gona track down the ppl that made it and kill em.

i think WWF could have done better

:D smile for papirazzi :D

kill the sharks!

the sharks would have been first to die, or else, they are in worse condition than global warming!!!

and what about the little turtles and plancton?
