Haha, I love it. Does it really need a line though?

Great. As Alanis would say: Isn't it ironic, don't you think?

"I don't need to fight to prove I'm right"

Wow, that's a really powerful photo. It actually makes me feel angry. They don't deserve the shade that tree is providing. I really like this piece.

It's only an ad.

Hey guys, I would like to do a WWF ad. Do you think it is obliged to own the acount at the agency?

Just do a scam one yourself for a laugh, post it up though, would be cool to see. ;-)

What an incredibly powerful image. Excellent. It makes me wonder what the tree would be feeling if it was capable of emotion.

fatastic picture and situation.
how stupid, but they were bright enough to keep one!!
but to late.

It is so strong on its own but also works as a metaphor for the entire world. I can only agree: Great!

MAGNIFIQUE!!!

Ravages's picture

Oh boy! If this were not done already, it would still be a little weak.

Where was it done? you got a link?

clever, cannes material

funny

one of the the most intelligent ngo ads i've seen in a while!
funny AND sad.
great job

Now THIS is more like it.
Compare what this is saying...how powerfully it says it...and how simply, directly and evocatively...
compared to that "faces" in the forest fiasco.

>>>> That's not an ad. THIS is an ad.

Simplicity, baby, simplicity is the key to creating great ads.

insight, appie, insight connects and persuades.

>>>> That's not an ad. THIS is an ad.

A good insight, leading to a message conveyed simply?

That could be THE formula for good ads.

Chris's picture

this is alot better than the faces campaign.

Amazingly perfect!

they really cut down a forest just to make this ad? what's happening to wwf?!

This is Awesome!

flawless!!!

That's the truth about human nature. Take advantage of something until the last drop is squeezed, until it stops beeing that something.
Great ad. Only that it succeeds on delivering the message to us, but it doesn't talk to the people who are actually destroying our forests.
I can imagine those guys saying "yeah that's true ha ha ha, but once we are finished, we go some place else".
