i like this idea. but at the second time there are some problems.
There are two things, they show...
first one ist that driving a bike
second one is that the panda and not a jaguar?

and the panda have to be at the front of the bike not at the backside ?

Yes, it's a panda – probably because WWF has a panda as their logo. A jaguar would be more suitable on a Jaguar than on a bicycle.
Furthermore, the photo is showing the front of the bicycle, not the back, so everything is as it should be.

@Ramezani

The panda is at the front. And why should they be showing a Jaguar, which we associate with a car?

Great campaign!

Are you people smoking something? Am I missing something?
"Brilliant?" Is there a difference between the two ads other than day and night? Just wondering..?

II agree, I'm getting a mixed message here: Why the bicycle and the change in mascot together? Surely this would've worked better on the Jaguar car itself? A sleeping hood ornament, perhaps?

And since when do bicycles have those ornaments anyway?

It's a "car free" day. That means no cars, public transportation, etc (nothing that emits C02) That's why they used a bicycle here. As for the bicycle mascot, that's WWF's mascot, the panda. Its use here is strictly artistic; don't read too much into it :-) Or yon can think of it as using a bike is just as luxurious as driving a car

Should have use a plane like last time. Would have made a nice ornament ;-)

atb2005 said it.
Its the hood ornament swich that makes this idea good. Although i agree the two ads are to similar to eachother.

I would actually see this as a campaign for luxury bicycles, or that bicycles can be just as luxurious, rather than pointing to not use a car. Nevertheless - it's a clean and elegant ad.

bit ordinary. two of the same executions does not make a campaign.
