SeanMartin's picture

Pretty seriously effective. The red is a bit too bright, but nevertheless, nice job.

sachio's picture 78 pencils

Wow Sean, critique on the realness of the blood trail on the floor. Should we be scared?

SeanMartin's picture

Wow Sachio, a lame response. Should I care?

Yes, as a matter of fact: if you're going to do it (whether blood stains or comments), do them right.

sachio's picture 78 pencils

hmmm. Ok, because otherwise I wasn't 100% dead positive that it was in fact blood. I was thinking it could've been kool aid? You're right. If it was darker, then I DEFINITELY would've gotten the message.

Thanks guys!!!! :D

weedtweed's picture 62 pencils

we needn't be scared, but the realness of the blood trail would make a whole lot of difference, airhead.
SO yes, it would be more effective if the blood be less bright. :)

AERC's picture 61 pencils

That is true

Andy-B's picture 280 pencils

Brilliant!
I couldn't have thought of anything better...
Well done!

OMaxweller's picture 74 pencils

Love the execution. Clearly conveys the point.

pork_eater's picture 455 pencils

Yeah! Fantastic! And absolutely nothing to see with this world famous anti-fur commercial...

LeeHarvey's picture 1541 pencils

Exactly my point pork_eater! Thanks for the link. This commercial is at least 15 yrs old and world famous indeed...

javo's picture 848 pencils

Interesante, pero no me parece fantástica, ni mucho menos brillante. La ejecución está bastante bien aunque, si se fijan, hay algunos errores en la sombra que proyecta la sangre.

mondo's picture 142 pencils

i only can agree with that. well done!

skanger's picture 95 pencils

haha such a rip off of the anti fur tv commercial...which was also lame.

pork_eater's picture 455 pencils

Lame? 15 years ago??
Damn...

Andy-B's picture 280 pencils

I agree

Andy-B's picture 280 pencils

But now, o dont like this one anymore! copycats!!!!!!!!!

jomo's picture 62 pencils

Wow! Very nice.

mattlittlegym's picture 188 pencils

Nice execution. Could have some more people in there but I understand budgets.

Nolan's picture 189 pencils

Impressive ad, and viciously true.
Good jod.

BostonBob's picture 42 pencils

Jeez, does no one (other than skanger) remember the VERY legendary print ad and TV spot that has a woman trailing blood from her fur coat, with the line: ‘It takes up to 40 dumb animals to make a fur coat – but only one to wear it’.

What next, an ad with a pic of a car that says "Lemon."?

BostonBob

BostonBob's picture 42 pencils

Oh, sorry Porkeater and friend. You got the point as well.

BostonBob

the_capywriter's picture 2618 pencils

So what?! Different execution, not exactly the same product... For everything you make something very alike or exactly the same can be found... Doesn't mean everyone's a copycat.
I like the idea and think it's (still) very powerful

Come on Capywriter, is the same idea, for the same category

the_capywriter's picture 2618 pencils

To me this is talking about gorilla feet, tiger claws, ivory coming from elephants... and yes, also their fur or skins. The category is much broader, and so is the target group. All I really see in common is the trail of blood...

Done millions of time.
1st level thinking.

whitespace's picture 2048 pencils

Then please come up with a 2nd level comment. The only thing "Done millions of time" (sic) is the word "Done" on this site.

CR_AD's picture 413 pencils

It is a good announcement

daydream's picture 21 pencils

that is one lonely airport...

miko1aj's picture 1339 pencils

nicely done. Solid work.

keddy's picture 136 pencils

She needs to take the dead minks out of the bag.....

Good ad

Period(chuckles)

bluejay's picture 12 pencils

idea is great.
Small details on execution: blood seems too fake and girl feels overphotoshoped but then again idea grabs you big time

dico's picture 332 pencils

nice... no much more

mara's picture 66 pencils

DEXTER, Season 2, Episode 6, i think. Where Dexter drags a cut-up corpse along a police office floor, surreal.

Hard hitting + Nice & Simple

frankopinion's picture 21 pencils

Like it or not. We all know that it's not very unusual to get the same idea by two people sitting in diffrent parts of the world, working on the same/similar brief. That's y 'the correct and unique brief' tht every creative person thrives for is so important. Here may be unknowingly the creative guys have done again the same thing. So people who hv seen the original one are saying 'done it'. If u don't like hearing tht please stop doing it!

popporno's picture 40 pencils

mmm.
so..EXOTIC ANIMAL+SOUVENIR+WWF = BLOOD and AIRPORT.

...maybe could have been pushed a bit further than the first idea.

second_creator's picture 433 pencils

Brilliant!

dthlb72's picture 191 pencils

More like an art rather than a message... nice

Hibon's picture 515 pencils

I sore this idea already in France. (joelapompe) I like the execution "clean"and "clear" ... but i'm used to better concept work from WWF.

Simple ideas are the best !
