put a "tramp stamp" on her and it'll be my kind of lady... haha j/k
shall we think it's really cool
or shall we find it disturbing becuase wrangler people are getting raped and murdered. that2s the feeling i get from 2 of them
Jeans for necrophiliacs?
.................I like the logo.....................I like only the logo......................I think the campaign looks nice only because of the logo of the brand. You guys just hide the logo with your hand and then see the campaign. One little suggestion: Pls don't send this for awards!!!!!!
sorry, but i font like it.

That's all in your head! ;)
Do you catch any drama -tv - detective - cops shows?
This is the shot you always see for the dead raped woman -
Ask 10 women what they see when they look at this image -
I wonder how many would agree.

i cant comment on how "sucessful" this ad campaign would or would not be, but its awful either way. maybe wrangler is experimenting with the idea of brand connections interacting with emotions, and they figured nobody has tried to brand sorrow or queeziness, so they figured the "brand experience" would seem unique if nothing else.

Every one is taking the idea of this AD by his own perspective, What i can see here in this ad (Wrangler = A really wild hot animalized milf)
Shame on you, David Lubars!!!
Grand Prix - Shame on you mark09
this sucks, is this the Cannes Grand Prix standard now? Thank god i left advertising
Grand Fucking Prix for this.... this... this piece of unbelievable crap?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?
WTF?!?!?
Please, don't swear!
She's not dead guys - the ad is just pulling a parellel from hippos where they rest half under water.
Yes, of course, I was just joking with that twitter commentary. ;)
But you can't deny, the image looks exactly like a crime scene.
you have to be kidding! did this really win a lion?
Hormone vs Neuron - Twitter
Yeah, the jury really sucked this year. Let this be their memorial. Shit-heads.
i didn't get the impression that she was dead. i got the impression that she was moving through the water like an animal. It is not a great campaign, but it's far better than LAST years print grand prix. THAT was atrocious.
violence is an art...
Yuk. Not much more I can add.
I Think it's kinda sad and scary how many people indentify these ads als pictures of corpses.
It probably says a lot more about them and their media environment then about the pictures.
Think about it if you can spare the time.
Awsome campaign.
I don't see this ads as corpses. I see it as 'we're animals and we come out at night to feast on the human flesh' as a symbol of party-goers who get alive after sunset and start hunting the opposite sex.
and it's still the most idiotic Lion I've ever seen (sorry, Ivan, but it is). not to mention gran prix.
now you explain why is it so awesome.
but you probably won't cause you didn't understand the campaign and think it's awesome just because some lousy jury said so.
but should it goes that way?

the crime scene/wild animal debate aside, my question is "what the hell does wrangler jeans have to do with being an animal?"
So is this when everyone begins to say that the death of print ads are right around the corner? This won the Grand Prix winner campaign, because "It is much bigger than just an ad campaign. It defines the entire company in just three words. The Wrangler brand had repositioned itself through instinct and emotion and these ads are part of this repositioning campaign." Riiight.
As for second place, I always liked the Sour Marbels campaign, but did it deserve a silver? Maybe it's just me, but I thought that there were better print ads.
the person who murdered her was an animal
Nice campaign idea. Too many executions, perhaps. Falls flat after a bit. Don't know why, but reminds me a little of the 80s Amco jeans campaign; Every Amco Tells a Story.
