Why was it shot in this fine architectural environment? Is there some other additional messaging I should be getting beyond the obvious?

No… It's just Paris…

it doesn't look like shooting in Paris, but in Prague. I know this place behind the National Theater (thanks the surface very often occupied by skateboarders:-)
i see no added message in architecture.

It isnt raining!!

hahahah nice, but actually, i've seen a lot of people walkin around with umbrellas as a fashion thing to protect them from the sun and look like Audrey Hepburn or something .

Signe_S's picture

No, but the umbrella´s stuck! Ü

Hahahah, cool.

Its true it should be raining, and it looks like its an indoor shot.

Overdone, sweet potato

I've seen a lot better...

enough with the softballs already...

http://mikelightman.com/blog

everyone got wat u want to say.

but there is an umbrella....but no rain...no sun

there are shopping bags...and no shops but sm architectural beauty

a lot of criticism for a fairly high rating.

Apart from the rain bit, it's a very neat concept. Titillating!

i will never buy wonderbra

she should be walking as well. why is she standing with umbrella in the middle of the square with no rain? for no reason, obviously.

or change the location (waiting ont raffic lights for example).

this ad needs more work.

You guys totally miss the concept here! It doesn't rain because she is wearing wunderbra. It stops the rain (USP). Moreover, just now you can buy wunderbras in museums as well (that is why you see no shops)! Two messages sent, very clever.

P.S.: She stands because she is balancing an umbrella between her boobs.

oh... you're totally right.

silly me.

;)

Lol, I can just imagine first idea about this one...two beers, ashtray :) simpatic

wtf, seems to be a boobies work!

Wonder ad....

"No think is impossible"

I think the setting is a reference to the sturdy architectural structure of the wonderbra product. I mean look at the arches, looks like they are stiff, strong boob references to me.

What the Puck am I doing here?

OK. Even a girl without 'pushed up boobs' can do that. Not as good as wonderbra ads.

¿que pasa con wonderbra?, cual es el punto de esta idea.

nubloo's picture

The message is very clear. Clever ad!

Nubloo.com: the new blue.

the idea is ok...won't win any awards, which is why i'm sure it was produced, Furthermore, it's very badly art directed, and the shot is terrible...end of story
sorry chaps : (

Beutiful, simple, subtle.
I love it it.

After looking around for what it is that I am missing, I smirked.
When I smirk, civilizations are created.

show her from the front side!

anyway, looks like there's an endless well of ideas for wonderbra but surely diminishing bunch of fresh ones...

bad old joke, could've been funny a decade ago.

nice

sorry guys, this is personnal work, Publicis is not behind this. thanks for the comments.

why on earth they put Publicis???? julien et julien...
holy crap.

they did not specify Publicis, there was confusion simply

ivan's picture

My bad! Sorry

i'm glad to hear that.
thanks

she should be windowshopping on a rainy day... then it would make sense the whole shabang.

I want to be a copywriter in this print!

ivan's picture

Pls remember that copywriters do not only write copy, but conceptualize. So being a cw on this ad is indeed an achievement.

NEW BALLS PLEASE...

wonderbra is about the wonders a push-up bra can do to a woman's confidence. so any communication about exaggerated breast size and cheap visual gimmickry does nothing for the brand or the creator. except passing for advertising masturbation.

if you're going to do something for wonderbra, the least you can do is at least take the original idea forward.

Jon-Paul Mountford's picture

Kudos to you thefabric.

It's a great idea and very well executed. I've seen fully paid up ads with far less inspiration, and far worse direction. I love it when someone credits their audience with intelligence.

In fact I wish I'd thought of it.

great idea... too bad wonderbra already done it before you, however i cant find it anywhere on the net.

Senhora Kolossa's picture

wtf? seems to be a umbrella, ella, ella, e, e, e work!

most people seem to miss the point, looking for literal things like "look its not raining..." and "any girl with boobs can do that"...duh?
