sound pollution is from sonar from ships and stuff like that,
it causes the whales to beach themselves,

WDCS actually used the donations to run a campaign against oceanic noise pollution. Have a look at their work in the Moray Firth in Scotland against noise pollution.http://www.wdcs.org/news.php?select=312
