sorry to tell you this but we've already done the same campaign for the san francisco zoo (for their halloween event boo at the zoo). ours was done last year and is in the current issue of archive as well as shortlisted and in several award shows coming up.

wow. wonder if this was a rip off. or just a coincidence. i can see how it could go either way. then again, if it is a rip off, they'd have to be pretty dumb to post it on here.

jamespatrick101's picture 367 pencils

these were posted on here within days of each other, so they appear to have been concepted completely independently, at roughly the same time, so there's no way one agency could have seen the other's work and aped it that quickly.

if you read the comments above, the cd for these said they ran a year ago and had been in a few contests. so they were out there for a while.

jamespatrick101's picture 367 pencils

actually, he was the CD for the OTHER zoo ads (SF zoo).

and we still don't know when THESE executions (Wellington Zoo) were concepted or first ran do we? (i.e. when they first ran, NOT when they were posted on AOTW).

we only know the approx timeline for the SF ZOO ads because the CDs comments above. but my question is still unanswered because, again, we don't know when THESE ads were concepted or first ran. i'm just withholding judgement because i don't know all the facts/dates.

Haven't we seen something similar in here before? Come see what the animals do at the zoo when you leave...? I can't remember, exactly. Although maybe lots of zoos have this night-watching thing.
