Volvo: Ambulances
Ever wonder why ambulances have sirens but tow trucks don't?
Simply put, it's because life is very fragile. And unlike cars, people are living beings. Worthy of sirens and urgency. So Volvo builds the safest cars available. Because cars are replaceable, but people are not.

We know life is precious. These look more like anti drunk driving ads than Volvo ads.
excuse me, these are the more stupid lines / messages i've seen in a while.
the "reasons" are completely irrelevant (plus, everyone knows all of them to DEATH, don't have to repeat it!!!)
This campaign is almost making me sad.
"And unlike cars, people are living beings"
Well, guess we'll all go to bed a little less stupid tonight.
haha, agreed!
This is a really powerful thought. And the fact that you sold this idea of humanizing the car to volvo is quite impressive. From the looks of the art direction it looks like a planner may of influenced this work more than the creatives taking lead. Maybe its worth your while to re-look at the way you solved this visually. Can there be a posstive visual situtation that can portray the idea that the car was built with your life in mind, not just your ego?
pathetic!!!
