Actually the record is 6.688 m. and was broken with an old Suzuki Samurai at the Nevado Ojos del Salado in northern Chile this year.

Interesting fact, but why would that entice me to buy the car? How many 4X4 drivers think "gee - I'd love to find a car that would take me up Everest!". This is a an ad that talks to itself, not to consumers.
