Poddle: Shaved butt/ legs = Luxury
Touareg = Saved Mountain Goat
I'm guessing that a shaved poodle equating with luxury is a cultural thing.
I just think of old ladies.

Mountain goats are built to go anywhere and is therefore representing the car.
However, it's shaved to look like a show poodle, i.e. a luxurious pet.
So in turn, we see that it's a go anywhere luxurious car.
Easy.
I'm not entirely sure I want to see a clear view of a ram's anus.
smart idea but i don't i admire the fact that they are comparing a car into a goat. a horse maybe, a leopard why not , a black panther not bad But a GOAT mmmm..... i don't think so :)
The goat is a quite good analogy of it. I place a goat in the top of a mountain (4x4), a leopard or horse will lead you to speed. And we are not talking about speed in this ad.
the goat is the only animal with sure feet on the rough terrain... like mountain.
Mountain goat even climb the steep rock cliff.
So why not use the goat instead of leopard or panther or horse.
What about a cougar? That’s a nice looking animal that can clime rocks easily.

when they title a car with an animal name...they need to show how strong or how effective this car from the animal characteristics

"Al parecer" algunos publicistas todavía no entienden lo de "comunicación universal" para que lo entienda, así no sea el target, desde un E.T. de Ganímedes hasta un niño de 5 años. Publicidad para publicistas no, publicidad para la gente sí. Total, los que estamos metidos en esto de qué vivimos?? Consúltalo con la almohada.
Por cierto, hacerlo simple con un concepto fuerte es la verdadera vena cretiva... Este concepto es pobre, así de "simple".

Hay cosas que son de cultura general, y no todos tienen el mismo nivel de educación. Más simple que una cabra de montaña afeitada no creo que pueda ser, pero igual me da a mi, es mi criterio y listo. Lo de publicidad para publicistas sí existe, ads of the world no ve tu jardinero.
