NO!

Toro's picture 1021 pencils

get lost

crump's picture 273 pencils

I don't understand why not. It says "luxury" and "off-road" quickly while keeping all the focus on the car. It's nice and simple.

STRTLRS's picture 1537 pencils

And that makes it wonderful?

i really liked... i think the first guy saying "NO" influenced most people...hehehe

pork_eater's picture 509 pencils

For sure it would take many guys saying "YEAH!" to lead others to think this is great...

brain123's picture 840 pencils

"The first guy saying NO" was right.

Toro's picture 1021 pencils

He isn't.

It's one of those f*cking assholes who think to know it all. If you think you know what you are talking about you can give a reason why. People who simply post shit like: no, bad, crap, etc should be banned.

A.G. Pennypacker's picture 615 pencils

insert "bad photoshop" comment here.

annasamara's picture 79 pencils

I can agree that the photoshop could be better. But overall I like it.
Chic Louis Vuitton mud is funny and a little different, I think this will work.

It's good. I doubt people are sitting at home and commenting on the "bad photoshop work". Gimme break. What are you people, studio hands that wanna be art directors?!

Guest's picture

good point. not for the ad, but why does evry studio person think they are fuckin ex-professional AD's? hahaha!

brain123's picture 840 pencils

Seriously? Almap BBDO did this?

Guest's picture

Yeah!! I think you think it works because you´re a graphic designer, not an Art Director. This one looks like a Graphic Designer Work.

Guest's picture

I guess you have better criteria than Marcello Serpa then...

Guest's picture

OH yeah, the "NO!" guy at the beginning... He is a powerful creative director, so he's used to say that because he knows what works in a second and then kill it. You are so cool man... you are a DC right?

WilhelmR's picture 88 pencils

Well, the "bad photoshop" is obviously on purpose. And the result feels really VW :)

I like it.

Guest's picture

I think it's clever and cute. The instant reaction to any ad seems to be 'no' or 'done before'. But this one doesn't deserve such comments.

Guest's picture

It's not even LV mud. It's fake LV mud. They probably couldn't get the rights, or didn't want to try, so they faked it. LV should sue.

Awful execution, talk about lazy not even shadowing or transforming to conform to the car.

Guest's picture

Marcello Serpa?

Guest's picture

man, you don't even know who Marcello Serpa is... please read, or do some research at least

Guest's picture

That's exactly the point, this guy can't believe this is actually Marcello Serpa's work, I suggest you to do some research and check some ALMAP print work and you'll be shocked too

Guest's picture

looks like it was retouched to look like it was stuck on, like sticker or paper... execution kind of makes sense, kind of doesn't. I think the idea is kind of interesting though. We make 4x4 high fashion is a cute thought.

everartz's picture 5352 pencils

I cant believe that this is a brazilian ad!

C'mon guys, it's not that bad...

Guest's picture

I agree, simple but kind of clever. Works for me.

Guest's picture

Faut arrêter les mecs, c'est pas si mal!

LeeHarvey's picture 1798 pencils

Agreed, I like it.

Guest's picture

this is pure italian. cant be from brazil.

Guest's picture

I kind of like the concept, I also got it right away. Who really cares whether it's awsome Photoshopping or not anyways. It looks good enough for me.
Too bad though that they didn't use the actual Louis Vuitton pattern though. It doesn't matter for the concept though, people will understand what it is.

kgeiger's picture 5158 pencils

I've actually seen a SUV with "mud" aplications on it. But of course the "fashion label" was missing. So I kinda think this advert is right on.

Guest's picture

You guys should take a close-up look at the mud on the wheels and tires. Cheesy as hell.

tuga_mind's picture 42 pencils

Ndukwe Onuoha's picture 145 pencils

You know, a lot of people on AOTW are really dumb...advertising folks, not withstanding. LOOK AT THE AD AGAIN! While showing the functionality of the SUV,it also portrays the joy that comes with driving such an off-road vehicle. Hence the mud splash looks like an LV design.

Simply put, driving this SUV is the new, exclusive fashion fad!

Geeze!

i was made africa, and so i am

Guest's picture

driving this SUV is the new, exclusive fashion fad! only problem is that it targets Women, because how many man wear LV stuff. I never seen one!!

Guest's picture

At first i was like why?!! Than after looking at it for a second, i liked it

Have you ever studied PS/IL tutorials????
bad idea, worse execution....

Toro's picture 1021 pencils

What the f#ck are you talking about?

soj's picture 2 pencils

THEN THERE WAS LIGHT i think u guys are all right and also wrong.there are different points to look at this ad from.like, from the ponit of execution i think it was delibrate to make the mud look chessy because there is a point to be observed ,which is the lv pattern .

THEN THERE WAS LIGHT

Guest's picture

u r all a bunch of retared arselicks. each to his own though. NO! yeh thats about right. there was no art director on this job. however, it could have been alright... i say this cos i cannot quite put my finger on what is missing, if anything. instinctively, its not quite there in the way it looks. or maybe its just complete shit.

Toro's picture 1021 pencils

For someone who "cannot quite put his finger on what is missing" you are being a bit of retard yourself, innit?

Guest's picture

Hey, Almap does shit too you know. This one is crap, powerfull creative director or not, its crap.

Guest's picture

Maybe its a students work. And if so, its a witty concept, but the execution is much like Paint.

rogers's picture 45 pencils

The worst ad I see from AlmapBBDO in ages.
