Great,Great work especially for "Rock Lovers" ha ha....cheers
wow funny concept and nice photography!
This ad has been around for awhile. Year 2000 or so, right? When I first saw it then, I thought I'd love to own a shirt with that image.
WTF??? Year 2000??? It's like from 1960's.
The concept and the ad look "bernbachian" (meaning old thinking). I mean, I love Bernbach's stuff, but not for 2007.
FER.
very nice
Meh. I've just seen this album cover used so many times in other ads and pieces of artwork. It's too obvious.
with you, Elle.
VW's first Sales Manager would have had this thought.
>>>> That's not an ad. THIS is an ad.
Great, let's go dance in the fields now!
To anything but the Beatles.
>>>> That's not an ad. THIS is an ad.
Deal.
I know. Blue Oyster Cult!
That 'reaper' riff reminds me of Message in a Bottle.
Eeyo! Eeyo! Eeeeeeeeeyaaaaaaaaayooooooooooooh!

Do the people you work with appreciate you? I hope so. You are freakin' hellarious! (yes, I meant that typo)
I found it rather punny.
It's such a cheesy pun that it actually is kind of fun. Good work.

mmm, not sure i undestand this one

This link should clear things up for you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abbey_Road_(album)
ohh, well im not a beatle fan... which brings me to: who came first: the beatles or volks beatle?
http://shut.elmota.com
the volkswagen one is spelled "beetle"
oh wow, i just discovered TODAY that the word beatle does not exist in the dictionary! (english i mean) thnx!
Nice pun. Just out of pure curiosity, it's not seem like the same street, is it ?

If you check the link that 'ellehcimeo' supplied above, you'll see it is the same street. The buildings match, but it seems to have been shot at a different time of year, so all the trees are bare. They've even got a couple of the same cars parked in the background. A London cab and an old white VW Beetle.
Yeah, I noticed the nice details (cars in the back) but the street really seemed different. Guess I'll have to change my eyes again.

chevere pero la idea ya se a usado!
nice ad
the pun might be obvious but that doesn't mar the beauty of the ad. very likeable.
horrible. no relevance whatsoever. "Well, since they're called beetlessss......."
It's done many times.
Same idea. A little different execution.
I loved beatles but not this ad
Love it! Although the angle feels a little off. But I may be misremembering. What makes it work is that the Abbey Road cover features that white VW Beetle in the background. So Beetle + Beatle = new Beetle. Quick, clever idea.
Yeah, yeah, yeah...
Nope.

Hmmm. Street looked much nicer in the 60's.
I like the creative thought behind this.
Hello! Good Site! Thanks you! quegmmtaem
can supply such.contact now
Is someone know where this ad posted ?
I mean in which magazine or newspaper?
Thanks..
i think the ad is great.
this picture was taken today so the scenery on abbey road has changed a bit.
also beetles are much larger in size than the beatles so the perspective looks a little off of the album cover. also the picture was taken at a different time of year and a different time of day than the album cover so the sun isn't in the same place and the leaves are gone. this was probably taken in the early morning before traffic came through.
i'm a huge beatles fan and huge beetles fan so this image i think is wonderful. very creative, probably one of the best remakes of the abbey road scene that i've ever scene.
this is the greatest VW ad yet, where can i buy a poster of it??? please help!
