sounds like fun to me.. but i wonder why didnt they make the guy hold the umbrella and point as a sword.. wouldnt it make more emphasis?

Because, by having the umbrella in that position it makes direct reference to Excalibur.
Maybe a little 2 literal between the copy and the image.
