dont get it?

Guest's picture

They're afraid to go get the ball? I don't get it... Anything that is hard to get is not award-winning in my opinion.

washiam's picture 445 pencils

haha...nice

Guest's picture

Nice idea.. The ball can be better integrated in the picture. So bad photoshop... but again good idea. Really nice.

Ever heard of Lamborghini?

alexander_bickov's picture 3114 pencils

i think the jury has carved a new category - has failed to keep it classified - where the judging criteria is "best use of grass, hash, cocain, magic-mush... watever"
good move, i say!!!

they showed me a picture & i laughed
dignity has never been photographed

Really nice. Great way to say this car is really fast. Nice job.

Guest's picture

Really nice idea. A great way to say "really fast car." It's deceptively simple and very smart. . . Nice.

Nice idea guys! Beautifully executed. Should have been a campaign tho.

Damn! Very nice. "It's deceptively simple and very smart" I couldn't agree more.

dlue's picture 342 pencils

its a rip off of a nissan altima ad. except the altima ad is funnier (chickens dug a hole underneath the road to cross; its even the same perspective lol)

cheers,
dlue

It's sad, isn't it?

Guest's picture

This is superb. Well done to the makers. DDB crew.

Le falta algo para completar la idea, un pequeño texto tal vez.

jajaja esta bueno, demasiado simple y claro.

Guest's picture

The car could be just out of frame and travelling at 40kph and the kids wouldn't enter the road. Which means that the ad isn't necessarily sayng the the car is fast... so, what is it saying?

Guest's picture

DLUE, you're absolutely right. This is a major rip-off...

Guest's picture

Same angle, not the same idea. This ones a winner.

Guest's picture

Once explained i think this idea is quite good but to get the point across better then maybe they could of had a parent holding back their child from going to get the ball so it shows they are wanting it back but its to dangerous to get, whereas now it just looks like people are watching the ball as if its gonna explode or something.

Guest's picture

A great way to say

"Golf owners are reckless drivers that tend to run over small children"

or

"The brakes on a Golf are so bad, you won't be able to stop quick enough to avoid a little kid"

Is that the Golf speed test lane?

Guest's picture

"Ever heard of Lamborghini?"

WORD! Done already.

Guest's picture

Awesome. Love it.

Guest's picture

Very nice. Simple and fresh.

Guest's picture

A winner!

Guest's picture

Bad retouching. Take a closer look at the perspective on the telegraph/electricity poles. It's the little things that count.

Guest's picture

'Take a closer look' , it was one shot, poles, ball, kids, grass, road, sky etc etc, no retouching except for a slight grade, I know I was there.

Liverpudillian's picture 58 pencils

the guys pose makes me feel like they are waiting for something for so long notice the boring dog look... they could use the guys holding back the dog from getting the ball and it would be much better ...

mabdo's picture 8 pencils

so bad photoshop, so bad shadow handling.. different shadow angles.
i agree with Liverpudillian also.
i don't think it deserves a gold, silver nor bronze.
the nissan ad is much better in total.

Guest's picture

To me this ad is great.

Guest's picture

Great!

Very good but I think it's been done before, like someone said above, maybe Yamaha or some other car maker??

Wordnerd's picture 5854 pencils
Guest's picture

Guys, i think the idea is that they want to see de car and the only way is to make it stop. I am wrong?

Chinpi's picture 19 pencils

This make thing about mercedes ads, 90-0 fast... But yeah , the first time i see this i think about to stop the car to see it, because is a Wolwagen golf, and they dont see his speed like a good factor to show....

Stop the car , then enjoy his beauty!
