The idea is really good, but the execution is incredibly bad. Doesn't look like a VW campaign, reminds me of any type of student work in early career. It is so sad to see a good idea to be wasted that way.

But have you seen any of these?
I often see many blogs and this is the first time I saw either of them. I imagine it must be really frustrating for both teams have an idea, approve it and suddenly you discover that someone across the world simply had the same idea at the same time.
Of course we are all behind the new ideas, and while you do not see anything like what you just thought, leads you to believe that your idea is new.
I hope this will not happen to me, I had a brilliant idea this morning, so far at least ;-)))
That's our challenge, Jullyart! Coming up with THAT original idea.
We have to keep those brilliant ideas coming, and sooner or later...! :)

Execution not up to VW standards ...
It the message more than anything. I really love the idea + the wow execution. Is it less classy for VW, maybe yes but who cares. The scenario dramatizes the benefit of the product, and it is not fair to kill it just because it doesn't fit the assumed "identity" of BW.

I concur with the poor execution, the illustration would make a cool bubblegum ad but its not for VW
