Just remembering... This an ad for a VW dealership, not a VW ad.
Here in Brazil, AlmapBBDO is the VW's (manufacturer) agency for the national account.
They do a far better work.

Copy is weak but my guess is it was lost in translation. The ad works though. Some may not realize that those dorky little stickers are ubiquitous in Brazil i.e. they resonate with the target audience.
