It doesn't seem to be the same thing to me.
In your example someone just drove a longer way (quite stupid by the way!).
In this VW Ad the concept has definitely a bigger perspective!!
This one is much simpler and thus better.
Sorry Rosss but the one for Audi is about the pleasure to drive.
