drivers wanted to...make snow angels? i don't get what point they're trying to make? the car IS an angel, so it drives well? cool art direction, just not sure where they are going with the whole snow angel thing...

This is an old ad ain't it?

Yes, not recent.

OMG...
this looks like a sanitary pad!!!!!

chirp chirp chirp...

i don't think it's about snow angels.
look... there are no footprints.
as thought the drivers stopped the car,
opened the door, decided, 'heck, the VW is too fun to get out off.
let's just keep driving.'

i think.

good point! if this is the idea behind it, nice ad but a bit too complicated. anyway, i like it

That would have been a great idea but I doubt they thought of that.

there's so much snow that if u open the doors u leave the traces. Volkswagen can drive anyway.

I agee with the first guy, though this campaign got a few big awards it has got nothing to do with 'drivers wanted', or it has? Can someone help please???

Drivers wanted is the Volkswagen's payoff, not the headline of the campaign, so it doesn't need to have something to do with the visual; in my opinion.

It's conjuring up images of childhood to say that the VW is a fun car. It's more about the feeling than a direct communications of the vehicles features.

I like it.
To me the ad says:
Drivers stopped the car, for a while. It snowed heavily.
opened the door, closed. Kept going without getting stuck in the snow.
uh..hmmm.

conclusion: so many different opinions can only make a shiittty ad

if that dirty jewel relates to something, that we haven't seen or don't remember, then yeah, it might be good, but other than that it has no distinctive meaning

Cool. Thanks ripster!

this ad holds no logic.

looks as if the car hovered all the way to the middle of the street where it eventually stopped for a sec, with its tyres dragging in the snow along the way, causing those tyre marks, then lowered itself into the snow, had so-called angels enter the car, hovered above air yet again and drove off the page, with its tyres still draggin away in the snow.

and even if this ad was logical in the least, this sure is one shitty ad.

It would make more sense if the car model is VW Angel.... or something..

the car stopped to make snow angels. its about the car being fun.

That's what I got out of it. Not all ads have deep messages.

exactly, people are looking too deep into it. It is a fun visual that goes with the brand.

sorry, didn't understand it

oh!! i get it!! drivers wanted because amost all drivers were killed in a vw beetle. i'm so clever.
