I think it's an interesting way of presenting that the new product in "on the web"
As for the missing feet, do you guys really think that the creative directors are absolutely blind and stupid and you know better ? :) in my opinion an extra pair of feet would actually kinda mess things up back there. right now it looks clean, beautiful and comprehensive. besides, the missing feet give you that tiny shock that makes you remember this add for a long time. All in all great job

a normal woman has about 300 pairs of shoes, so this spiderwoman has probably 1200 pairs of shoes .. OMG!

i think this visual is really strong... rather interesting. only thing is, it straddles a very fine line between clever (but only if the association with the www is strong - in this case, it isn't) and a tad creepy. spiders - the majority feel icky about, so subject matter needed careful handling... it was a risk y'all took :)
