Look @ it from a pet owner's point of view... They love their pet and go to extents to give em' the best. Now shampooing your pet always has been a big question mark with regard to ingredients used and after effects on fur etc... Now when this ad shows an animal with beautiful hair that smells sweet (o_0) it probably hits pet owners. They'd like to see their pets with nice fluffy hair (idk about smells good)...

So maybe as a pet owner it really works.. sell the want, not the need.

The other two are great, this one doesn't even match the application, I've never seen a black candy.

Shampoo for dog...the fur does not look soft or silky at all...it looks entangled....and what's with curly thingy??? is that the main idea???

2 ideas merged = fail

For softer and sweeter hair? Where it is? He looks like plastic dog :)
Bad image for a doggy shampoo! Don't like it. The other prints are better.

Interesting concepts but I wonder if pet owners like the idea of their pets looking like candy.... Great art direction but the ad just does not seem to hit home.

dog..lollipop.... I don't think so. Softer..yes. Sweeter..no.
Overall idea: failure. Not convincing towards dog lovers.

Execution is great based on the idea, imagery fits the concept and color scheme emphasizes. Those "curls" at the end of this dog's hair definitely have got to GO. They're eye-catching but disturbing. Photoshop did a better job on the other prints.
