Don't kill your eyes. Donate them instead.

If you don't donate your eyes at the time of death, you are literally letting them 'die' with you. So you are killing your eyes as you don't let them live on.

hmm, where do i begin about your portfolio...bad photoshop, bad illustration skills, bad typography, and only 8 projects from 2004 till 2008. hmm... it's very easy to pretend like you know shit and leave ugly comments. way to support your fellow designers and design community with your "constructive" critique...

A little touchy aren't we?
What, no portfolio link from you?

I know what my skill set is. But thank you for adding it up for me.
I know that I would not be able to illustrate a pair of eyes hanging themselves on a tree, so I don't.

But if a designer or an agency chooses to do it, then they need to do it well or hire somebody who can.
And I am not saying I am eager for the job.

I leave a comment to a project posted for comments. This is my opinion as a viewer of the ad,
as part of the target audience and I am still entitled to an opinion.

By the way, thank you for your comment on my web site,
I agree that the use of dates on my projects could be unwise.
I will take the dates off.
Thank you

touchy? wow, don't tell me that because of my comment you've made an assumption that i'm even remotely related to the creative team working on that campaign... and regarding my portfolio - i'll have to school you again...you know, if you call yourself a "designer", you must know, that RESEARCH is on the foundation of the job, and if you a "modern day" designer, you probably use "the Internets". So tell me, is it so hard to click on my user name to get to my profile??!! or is it your first time ever using and internet forum?

Ok, now that you went out of your way to offend somebody, tell us how this ad works... That's what this site's for after all, isn't it?

The operative big idea here is suicide, not killing. I like the art, but the concept is flawed.

Agreed. If you want to get the point you're driving at, show killing, not suicide. The eyes committing suicide tells me that they don't want to continue living...which I think is pretty opposite of what you're trying to tell the audience. Might have been stronger to go with the other side of the coin on this one: living on rather than dieing.

i was thinking more on the lines of "keeping your eyes healthy for donation" rather than "since you're gonna die anyway, why don't you donate them instead"

OK comments on the copy

Its VERY BAD
Firstly you dont donate your eyes when you die.
Then what's with starting the second sentence with, "SO"?

I don't have any eyes to see it. What's the reason...?

Too much blood and realism on a piece that was supposed to sell hope.
The photoshoping is OK to me. But the typing should be more sensitive than this taken from a wisky bottle.
The client logo shouldn't be at the bottom of the ad?
