Nicely done. Don't really understand the comments about an energy drink, since when does an energy drink give you wood?
Simply superb. I guess the energy drink -comments refer to old man's strength to literally carry so much wood into his house... They just don't quite get it. This is very clever thinking, although it might be too clever since it's only understandable iif you are fluent enough in English.
Now I might underestimate the target audience with my last comment... ;)

It's not, this is a Finnish ad and I doubt "wood" has the same meaning in Finnish as in English. The obvious interpretation is that he intends to keep that fire roaring for very long...

it's not about new ideas anymore as we all know very well. It'sall about adapting, it's all about connecting and using old ideas in a new and fresh way in different contexts. Ann Summers' spot is great, but so is this one - it still manages to be different and new.
And yet, you've seen the Ann Summers' flic. But how many people of the target audience have seen it, and would make the connection and call it a steal?
i didn't call it a steal. i just don't get why this is supposed to be good. you know the viagra campaign with the old women falling asleep at work because of their horny husbands? that was an insightful and elegant way for that message.
for me, this is a big step backwards.
