the guy in the ground is placing what i am assuming a proximity landmine. the guy behind him is pulling a scare prank and popping that brown bag behind him, to scare the guy in the ground.
the "never grow up" is bouncing off this idea in the imagery as pulling pranks and not realizing the consequences of what might happen... like getting blown up :-)

whitespace i have the same critical eye for detail but this time so does the designer...he had to have the gloves off to b able to handle the paper bag!!!
