Wow. How many more visual gags are we going to highlight on this blog. Did the copywriters fall off the planet? Or forget how to write compelling headlines? And try telling J.K.Rowling that people don't read any more.
what a retarded comment to make.
do copywriters only work when there is a 200-word paragraph for you to disect?
a visual ad is no less valid than a long-copy ad. crucial is that the idea is solid and the execution works.
you're getting lost in the process and ego stuff.

yeah, i was struggling too. i *think* it's for the 1x2 outfit, and so, in both really awful thinking & execution, they've tried to make a 1x2 in the city landscape. i like how they've used part of the landscape for the '1' & the '2' but then for the 'x' they've thought "what do we do here then? hey, let's just paint some buildings white! BAM! DONE! GOLD!"
Visual trick that only talks about the name of the game that its promoting. No insight and Big Ben isn't that tall. I prefer the pub execution, it's warmer and subtle, this is way too forced and says nothing about betting on football.

It's difficult to get the idea without your explanation.
I didn“t see a "1" and a "2" in it ...
How do you know it's crap if you don't understand it. Just joking. ;)
A bit forced with the numbers on the cityscape.
now only i got it. actually that's not working.
and the visual does'nt give any competition feel

This is a badly art directed bad idea.
