You could just chip the ball over and tap it in the back of the net no bother, the defense wouldn't be able to tackle you.

Were talking about metaphors here people. Not about the fact if a concrete wall would actually work on a football field.
So to me it seems more stupid to analyse the usability of a wall than to see the metaphor.
