The Chinese commentator, gdkid2004 is asking if the makers of this ad knew who the woman beside Mao was? He's sure that a joint account operated by the infamous commie couple would have been a disaster as it indeed was, in other spheres of life in China under this genocidal tyrant. Apparently gdkid2004 is a dissident and probably a democrat at heart. A commie crook won't talk like that. However, for us here in India, what is appalling is the utter insensitivity of Mudra, the agency, in making an ad depicting a monster like Mao in the same parameter with Mahatma Gandhi and Abraham Lincoln, 2 individuals who are just the opposite of Mao. But more shocking is the decision of the client, Union Bank of India, a PSU bank, to approve this provocative ad. Do these bankers know that the country's most numerous and most dangerous terrorists, the Maoists, swear by this monster, Mao? Sure, one Dev Kumar objecting to such provocative and insensitive work won't make any difference but if the government gets into the act, you'll immediately fall in line.
