I don't think the message is "chocolate=bad." That's oversimplifying things. I like to think it has more to do with casual snacking, eating without thinking, usually unhealthfully. In both prints of the campaign, the subject is distracted by TV/Computer and is grabbing a bite without looking. That's the issue. They want you to look at what you're eating. Just as the subjects should literally look because their food is a trap, they want you to analyze your food intake and make informed decisions. The message is more than just "stop eating chocolate."
