Well, if they can save your life, who gives a f... about how they write. But it truly is a mystery why they all write alike.
They write this way so laymen won't know. The prescriptions are not for patients but for pharmacists. There's even a name for it "doctor's writing".

They r so bored by writing long medical names that they omit some of the words that are still recognizable by them but for others its alien writing.

Doctors are writing this way because they have a hight education and cannot efford faulds in their copy. If you're writing like this way you can't see those faulds.
