It's a henna tattoo - traditional at Indian weddings. I don't really get the connection between henna tattoos and honeymooning overseas, but perhaps the culture and meaning behind henna wedding tattoos would explain it better. Can anyone shed any light...?

ivan's picture

Yes, this is not permanent tattoo. It comes off after a few weeks. It is used on weddings.

Weddings...Honeymoon... And you don't see the connection? I think it is very nicely done. Shows the traditional (henna tattoos) and the modern (traveling overseas for pleasure) in one sweet ad.

AS AN AUSSIE THIS IS BAD!!
Crocodile Dundee, C'mon give me a break!
Kings Cross as a tourist destination for honeymooners? (Dodgy area for hookers and dealer) I guess it depends on what sort of honeymoon you want.
and probably the most annoying = Mellbourne. The second biggest city in Australia is spelt wrong. Melbourne.

Does anybody else remember the old Femina ad? This one looks like a direct rip.

I THINK FOR HONEYMOON, THE BRIDE SHOULD HAVE HENNA TATTOO OF THOSE 101 KAMA SUTRA TRICKS! Hehehee....just stay indoor, enjoy! Save money on travelling too.

Would be nice if they had put up a lil concept note with the ad so that people not familiar with Indian customs would be able to understand the idea better
