what if the serpent got loose while driving?

The man who stops advertising to save money is like the man who stops the clock to save time

I like the over-the-top statement of "Grrr I'm so tough I use rattlesnakes for neckties"

But neckties themselves are the opposite of tough and outdoors-y.
A belt would have been better because that's also functional and something you would wear when hiking in rattlesnake-country.

To me this is meaning that with this SUV you can "control" or do whatever you want with the nature i.e. drive in wild paths etc... I might be wrong but I sincerely hope this isn't the meaning of the ad...

It's a pretty straight forward ad, it says that I'm so adventurer that I use a snake as my tie and the Toyota FJ Cruise is my type of car. Not bad.

I disagree. I don't think that message is that straightforward...I didn't get it at all, and even after you've explained it I still think the message is really weak.

Veo algo, pero le falta profundidad, Un copy por ejemplo. La idea no es muy fuerte, la dirección de arte está bien

They should have stopped with just the tie/snake and not had the process of tying it.

Wait, isn't this the same agency that deceived the Cannes jury with the "Nelka-Rent-a-Car" fraud, and took home a Gold for it ??
