is it actually so intricate??!!
If I was a big-time engineer for Toyota, I'd request a chair as a minimum requirement.
agreed, but a desk would be pushing it.
Or the guy could just be standing. I;m sure that Image could be dragged so he won't need to bend. I remember the TVC of a touch screen computer and when I compare it with this, well, this just falls apart.
The copy on this ad is excellent. Simple but executed perfectly.
You used a Sharpie, Bill? The fuck, man?!
good copy

Don't try to stand out of the crowd; avoid crowds altoghether.
yes, good copy. (the most important part of a ad is WORDS and not photoshop)
Question: How comme these guys (Publicis) work for Toyota ? they should work for Renault !
Simple ideas are the best !
Oh what a feeling! Here's a guy hunched over with a sharpie working on a headlight...
The ad doesn't grab me. I agree the copy is well written, but it's also very close to Bernbach's VW ads (Lemon in particular). I'm not shouting the obligatory adsoftheworld "been done!", but this ad feels a bit flat to me.
