Still I think they are trying to say it will keep sticking coz the small boy’s hand would’t get aged that much in 20 years.
It is a very nice idea though people without the movie reference wouldn’t get it.

One more angle of looking at it.....Hand on the left is an alien's whereas on the right is a human's. Aliens and Humans think of living together peacfully on earth, infact they are so excited of this new combination they can hardly keep there hands of each other...right!
