I'm not quite sure how to put this...

I don't think the execution is the best. It looks like they just grabbed a few rich folk from the list and pushed the whole campaign out the door in the quickest time possible. And this would have been such a nice brief to work on... shame on you all.

The ads in this campaign are a commentary on the fortunes lost by the mega-rich during the economic downturn. They've been purposely art directed as spoofs of cheap-looking sales ads, hence the star-bursts. They're not bad ads at all. But spoofs of sales ads have been done quite a bit.

Thanks for explaining a very simple campaign but I think you are the one missing the point. These are ordinary ads.
