People eat meat all over the world. Big deal. What is the ad saying?

Guest's picture

err... you can try using your imagination.

Guest's picture

uh i think dat's dog meat dude ,like snoopy the beagle? not everybody like eating dogs...

Guest's picture

The line should say, they are our friends, dont eat them

Guest's picture

But it's ok to eat cow? Goat? Sheep? Horse?

Better than JWT's picture

I think the idea came first before the client. How the hell would an NGO be able to pay for the copyrights of the peanuts, scooby doo, and garfield characters? Oh, i know. JWT paid for them.

the concept is mediocre.

btw, did these ads get published? i dunno, all i see when i look at this ad are three words: SCAM, SCAM and SCAM.

BetterthanBetterthanJWT's picture

i dont think the owners of the cartoon characters would make an NGO pay.

from what i notice, people who like to say SCAM rarely win awards.

it's like...what's the called, oh yeah...SOUR GRAPING.

DON'T SAY SCAM IF YOU NEVER WIN.

"SCAM, SCAM and SCAM"?

That's four words.

Dear Guest:(But it's ok to eat cow? Goat? Sheep? Horse?)

Yes it is.

In the Philippines, there is a law against eating dogs. It's under the Republic Act 8485.

So yes, it's okay to eat cows and pigs. Not dogs.

Does that answer your question?

And scam or not, anything that helps put the word out against animal cruelty gets my vote.

wow! dahil dito hindi na papatayin ni mang ambo si bantay! nice ad.

Better than JWT's picture

BetterthanBetterthanJWT: if your nick were true, you could win at cannes too. But guess it ain't. Too bad.

don't mess with anyone you don't know.

the ghost of advertising past's picture

what a bunch of idiots! "better then ____", "better than better than _____" you guys are all egomaniacs. do you you actually even care about the causes you supposedly make ads for?

all you care about is winning your stupid little awards at cannes or dnad or wherever so you can show it to all your little advertising friends and be crowned king of your pathetic little hill.

get some perspective gentlemen. there are so many worthy causes out there that need your talents. not
so you can milk them to win your next award, but so you can actually HELP them.

grow up.

Poor or not poor, still there's no excuse to eat dogs and cats.
Or should I say, " Do you want rabies with that, Sir?"
