very good campaign...deserved th bronze it got this year!
ps: ivan, the line is : "adopt. you wil rcv more than u cn ever give" i guess u missed the 'you will' part..
eh?
looks very cute, but i think the visual's wrong.
to me the picture's telling people that adopting a child can help them to gain the feeling of security.
kids don't give that feeling, they need it. they'll give you love, joy etc in return.
... and when that child grows? What happens to you? Excersise your brain a little deeper, man.

agreed, i've worked in child care and even just seeing a momuntary rize in a childs self asteem makes you feel like a million bucks
yeah brandsurgeon, i'll exercise my brain a little deeper.
maybe you could work on your manners, "man".
anyway, i try to explain what i was thinking:
this ad is clearly showing a child. children don't give you security as long as they're children.
there are a lot of people out there who can't manage their own lives and who think that having / adopting a child could help them to fix that. i met (and i'm still meeting) people who think that way.
as a result they're often overstrained, unable to see their kids' needs & problems and start to blame their kids for everything.
Here it isn't the security feeling, is the love one. Have you childs ??
yes i do have a daughter. why?
to me this was about giving security. you may be right, though
nice idea, very badly excuted!, it just looks fake!
How real would you want the picture to be? As real as the creepy-crawly thing in Lord of the Rings? Its a fantasy, man! It's a projection of the future...
(Sometimes, I think its better to admit you wish you had thought of it first)

I don't like it very much
I prefer the 'adopt a dog' campaign. two completely different things, but I prefer.
.This conversation is over.
now that just looks plain silly
and plain lazy and self-indulging creatives/wankers.
very nice idea but excution looking very fake!
it won a bronze. it does not deserve it.
not that good.
