Wow! This is like the 10th time an exhibition forum topic idea ends up as a campaign that is submitted to the front page and awards.

if anyone has the urge to see a link, i can look for it, don´t worry, i didn´t do it now because i think most people know what i´m talking about (and i´m lazy).

At that point I don't know what to say...
The fact that it was awarded "bronze" at the latest EPICA is depressing!

It's okay as an idea, but...
I'm surprised that a tyre brand in 2007 is till flogging that old brief.

>>>> That's not an ad. THIS is an ad.

If tread comes OFF a tyre is'nt it a bad thing?
Just my first thought.

My first thought was also the 'wrong' sticky side. But who says the sticky side can't be the one on the surface? Using a tape dispenser as visual makes the idea and proposition very clear. Which side the sticky side is, isn't that important I think. On the other side, with this kind of dispenser, the tyre would get stuck.... not if the tyre wouldn't make contact with the dispenser... but that would be an unnecessary complification... Just saying... do we really have to think that deep about an ad like this. It's not that it's telling us completely wrong things about the product, is it?

now that's a tape dispenser in which the tape wouldn't get stuck if the sticky side was on the surface ;))
